Remember a time when...
life felt good, easy and familiar.

Struggle, mistrust and that sense of feeling lost in it all weren’t the “norm”
those days feel like a distant memory.

Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?

You’ve come to the right place

I'm Joanne Deaker,

and in times of change, I help everyday adults just like you
- ones that have the courage to face change - to:

* uncover the root of challenges,
* move through change
* begin enjoying life again.

I help my clients increase their self awareness and find safety within themselves by equipping them with the tools they need to remove their blocks
 and connect deeply too themselves.

Many of today’s solutions for moving through challenges are talk based, on the surface, one size fits all and too reliant on coming back to the therapist, leading so many to feel like they’re not making real progress, and any improvements are only temporary and require continually going back for more...

 I know that:

 * by
going deep to the root of your challenges we can make real progress and lasting life improvements.

*your circumstances are unique, so every step we take is tailored to you.

* with the right tools that I will teach you, you can empower yourself so that you don’t need to keep coming back.

I am dedicated to helping you
 feel joy in life again.

My training in somatic and arts therapy means I have the expertise you need to help you move through challenge.

But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to
be an adult in a time of change, struggling with finding yourself in all of it
, right?

I get it because I’ve lived it myself. I know that sometimes you wonder...

'Who the hell am I now?'...,
now that almost everything I once believed in is a lie... +/or
now that the one(s) I once loved and trusted can no longer be leaned on...

I've lived through:
a long term marriage ending in divorce & the estrangement of an adult child, the deaths of both my parents, children leaving home, loss of faith in the current system and major career changes,
and I've recovered from
a deeply ingrained pattern of prioritizing everyone ahead of myself called the 'Good Girl Syndrome'...

So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist/coach...

You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
